Teddy Grasset, 1989 – 2016
Teddy always saw further than us.
When Dr. Collectors was still just a clothing brand selling online, Teddy envisioned something bigger. A place where the brand could live, breathe, and be felt in person. He pushed us to open The Trading Post Gallery. He designed the environment, built the vision, and brought people into it with the kind of warmth that only he had.
On September 27, 2016, after leaving a music event in Nashville, Teddy was killed in a senseless act of violence. He was 27 years old.

Teddy never harmed anyone. Never pretended to be someone he wasn't. Never did a good deed expecting something in return. He was a free spirit, deeply loved, impossible to replace.
We didn't stop. We couldn't. Stopping would have meant forgetting. And we will never forget.
Every Dr. Collectors garment carries a mark in his honor. His joy travels the world with every piece we make and every person who wears it.
